NTWS Dispensary started in May, 2008. We had only one doctor & a pharmacist to start with. Initially we used to get only 2-3 patients per day. It took about 2.5 years to build rapport & confidence of local people & more importantly villagers (in and around Palam Vihar). We started offering other services like regular free camps at dispensary & free health check-up camps at nearby villages (bi-weekly) where consultancy & medicines are free. Other departments were gradually introduced, like:

• ​Homeopathy
• Physiotherapy
• Dentist
• Orthopedics
• Gynaecologists
• Lab facilities at charitable rates

We also started English speaking classes (free of cost) & also basic computer course for villagers & local residents. With time we have got more than 15 people placed. There is a team of dedicated volunteer teachers who come in the evening to teach the poor children. We are soon going to start new department like:

• Dermatology
• Eye OPD
• Ayurvedic Medicines
• Senior citizens club where they can come play in-door games, read, gossip & socialize & many more such projects.

A lot of eye camps with Dr. Shroffs have also been conducted & many poor patients have been operated for cataract (free) wherein they were even transported to & fro to eye hospital in Daryaganj. We also collect clothes (old & new) & distribute it to the poor villagers. We have also started a library for the kids & senior citizens. We also organize Nukkad Natak at villages to encourage people to go in for Thalassemic screening. Umpteen number of people have been screened free of cost. There are a lot of of things to be done & this is just the beginning.
