Thalassemic kids - Testimonials

Hitesh is a 13 year old young chirpy boy. His parents came to know that he is suffering from Thalassemia when he was 5 months. His dad has a business with not much time to spare. His elder brother, a Thalassemia minor is in 12th standard. Feels life is all good and loves to play cricket. It is an eye opener to see these kids so content and happy!

She is a 17 year old girl staying in Shalimar Bagh giving her 10th board of 2013. Loves to play badminton. Says that friends and teachers are now aware about Thalassemia because she has to miss school to get blood. She was diagnosed at 6 months of age and now has dark skin, with teeth protruding out and short height, a common sign of a major Thalassemic!

He is 21 years old but is in 9th Standard. Due to not being aware, he came to know he is a major when he was 7 years old. Physically is weak and short in height. Teeth are protruding out and eyes are yellowish. DeenDayal Hospital has given him a new life, which unfortunately his younger brother, also a Thalassemia major couldn't survive!

Both are brothers from separate mothers! They are in 5th standard. It is apparent from their health they are suffering but they say they love to play and dance. Feel weak just before the transfusion every month and have to miss school to come to get blood
